on saturday i went to the opening night event of the lomonesia’s LOMOGRAPHY LOVES INDONESIA exhibition, at grand indonesia, first floor east mall. the familiar jakarta traffic and rain hampered me for a while but as i made my way through the amazing crowd i realized it was well worth it…
the crowd that turned up was, first of all, wonderfully crazy. it was a lovely surprise to see the great amount of growing support for the analogue camera community in jakarta. while i can’t call myself an active member, it was a great spectacle, very rewarding, and most of all just fun to see all the friends, old and new.
featured here are some pictures i took during the trees & the wild performance (which was wicked cool), unfortunately (and shamelessly) with a phone camera instead, because i’ve run out of my film stocks…
apparently the largest lomo exhibition in indonesia yet, featuring 50 artists and 700+ photos.
judging by the crowd… might just be the most successful one yet.
visuals by lomonesia visual jockeys during the trees and the wild performance.

i was featured in far magazine’s october/november issue in their nation on a mission spread. the photos are from my early 2009 japan collection and late 2008 jakarta collection, but it’s still cool.

more photos can be seen in the mag. and because i’m very helpful, this is the cover of the issue that i was featured in:
cheers.
